The login email

A steady connection
A cable from the router is the calmest choice for a box under a big television. Wi-Fi is fine for phones, tablets and laptops, provided the signal reaches the room.
The MAC, for MAG only
Only a MAG box needs one. Read it from the label under the case, copy it exactly and email it to support, and your box gets registered to the portal.

The ten models in the side panel are Linux-portal boxes, and each one reaches the portal through the same menu. The steps below are the same on each of the listed models.
- Read the MAC from the label and email it to support@infomiriptv.com along with your checkout address. Doing this first means the registration is already waiting when the box asks.
- Plug the box into your TV and router, switch it on and let the start screen finish.
- Press the SET button on the remote, go into Settings and then Servers, and choose Portals.
- Name Portal 1 anything you like, then put the address from your login email in the Portal 1 URL line, character for character.
- Save, leave the menu and reboot. When the box returns, the portal shows Live TV, Video Club and Catch-up tiles.
A blank portal almost always traces back to one wrong character in the address, or to a MAC that is not registered yet. Check both before anything else.
Infomir IPTV with a Fire TV Stick
Put one in the bedroom and you have a second screen for little money; the app goes on within a couple of minutes.
- From the home row, open Find and pick Search.
- Dictate or type IPTV Smarters Pro, or TiviMate, and open the matching result.
- Press Get, wait for the download, then launch the app.
- Type the credentials the email gave you and give the list a moment to fill.
If sign-in fails, reveal the password while you type and check each character. Remote keyboards make capital letters easy to miss.

- Start the Play Store app from the TV's home screen.
- Search for TiviMate, or pick IPTV Smarters Pro if you prefer it, and install your choice.
- On first launch, add a new provider and enter the sign-in lines the email gave you.
- Let the guide load, then star a handful of favorite channels.
Typing long details with a directional pad is slow. A USB keyboard, or a phone remote app that allows text entry, saves several minutes.

Apple TV runs apps from its own store, and a nearby iPhone turns the typing from a chore into a few seconds.
- Launch the App Store from the Apple TV home screen.
- Type IPTV Smarters Pro into the search field and download it.
- Launch the app. When the sign-in boxes appear, let your iPhone act as the keyboard if the prompt offers it.
- Choose a category and press play.
Keep the Apple TV on an Ethernet cable if you can. Long sports broadcasts are happiest on a wired link.

Samsung sets keep their apps in Smart Hub and LG sets keep theirs in the Content Store. Neither needs extra hardware.
- Open the app store that matches your set.
- Look up IBO Player first, with IPTV Smarters Pro as the fallback, and install whichever shows.
- Launch it and fill in the sign-in lines when the app asks.
- Let the list load, then open Live TV or the movie section from the app menu.

A laptop or desktop suits a spare room or a desk, and it needs only a player program plus the emailed login.
- Visit the IPTV Smarters Pro website and download the build for your operating system.
- Run the installer and open the program.

Usually one character in the portal address is wrong, or the MAC has not been registered yet. Compare the address with your email letter by letter, restart the box, then write to support with the MAC.
Which app suits a screen that is not a MAG box?
